China WindPower Group Ltd., a specialist in wind power electricity generation in China, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hebei Construction Investment New Energy Limited Company to jointly develop, construct and operate wind power projects.

The Group has signed the joint venture agreement to set up two joint ventures with Construction Investment New Energy to oversee development of the wind power plant projects in Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia and Zhangjiakou city, Hebei Province.

Phase two of the wind power plant in Wolongshan, Kangbao, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province has an installed capacity of 49.5 megawatts and an estimated initial annual generation capacity of 100 million kilowatt-hours saving estimated annual emissions of 100,000 tons of carbon dioxide.

Liu Shunxing, CEO of China WindPower, said, that Construction Investment New Energy has a very strong parent company — Hebei Provincial Construction Investment Company.
