International retail space developers Central Retail and Melco Group will also present at the conference and forecast the future retail trends in China.

According to figures from China's National Bureau of Statistics, the country's total sales of consumer foods reached RMB 1000.8 trillion in October 2008, year-on year increase of 22%. Retail Space 2009 is the conference for retail industry experts to meet and find out how retailers and mall operators can ride out the credit slump and get a share in this opportunistic market.
