China Southern Power Grid Corporation Limited has issued a special document to show its support for new energy development.

The document, which is titled "Several Opinions on the Support of the Development of New Energy", states that new energy development is an integral part of China's low-carbon strategy and it is necessary for energy conservation and environmental protection to solve the ever increasing energy shortage problem and ensure the sustainable social development. CSPGC asks all its affiliates to recognize the importance of new energy development and carefully carry out the nation's new energy policies, make updates on their grid and expand new sectors for development to provide quality service to energy companies and clients.

CSPGS' document is said to be the first of its kind produced by Chinese grid enterprises and it is expected to play an active role in supporting the development of new energy.
