The newly established Shanghai International Energy Conservation and Environment Development Company plans to build the Shanghai International Energy Conservation and Environment Park into the first low-carbon technology research and promotion center in China.

Occupying a total area of over 30 hectares, Shanghai International Energy Conservation and Environment Park is slated to be a home to enterprises, institutions and associations engaged in energy saving and environmental protection and offer marketing, leasing, financing, and other comprehensive commercial services for its tenants.

Built on the site of the former Shanghai Ferroalloy Plant, a major source of pollution in Shanghai, the new Shanghai International Energy Conservation and Environment Park is adopting advanced energy conservation and environmentally friendly technology and products for its construction.
