The International Financing Corporation is offering financing of USD136 million for ENN Solar Energy, part of the Chinese XinAo Group, in an effort to help drive down global prices for solar-generated electricity.

IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank have signed an agreement to collaborate to support energy-saving projects that will help reduce 3.5 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions in China annually.

The World Bank Group's International Finance Corporation says it has invested in Nature, one of the largest flooring manufacturers in China, to help develop the company's sustainable wood sourcing and promote sustainable development of the flooring industry.
